Please follow the steps below to setup OpenVPN on your DD-WRT router to connect to the Anonine servers.  



Please be advised that this guide is a general overview, and steps may vary depending upon your router and DD-WRT firmware version. Please ensure that your router supports being flashed by checking the DD-WRT Router Database, and entering your router's name, manufacturer, and/or revision.  


If your router is supported, please follow the instructions below:


1. Download OpenVPN configuration file from client area and open it. The content of configuration's file will be used in the next steps of setup.

2. Open the DD-WRT control panel for your router (typically this can be accessed via a web browser by entering 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 instead of url)


3. In the DD-WRT panel go to "Services" → "VPN" 

Set the "Start OpenVPN client" option to "Enable"


* If you have version later than v3.0-5xxxx you can scroll down and just import OpenVPN configuration file at "Import Configuration" filed.




4. Enter or edit the following strings:

Server IP/name: set the hostname of the server you wish to connect to. Hostname take from downloaded configuration files.

Port: 443

Tunnel Device: TUN

Tunnel Protocol: UDP or UDP4

Encryption Cipher: AES-256-CBC

Hash Algorithm: Not Set

First Data Cipher: AES-256-CBC

Second Data Cipher: Not Set

Third Data Cipher: Not Set

User Pass Authentication: Enable

Username: enter your Anonine username

Password: enter your Anonine password

Advanced Options: Enable

TLS Cipher: None



Compression: Disabled

NAT: Enable

Inbound Firewall on TUN: checked

Killswitch: check it if you know what are you doing

Watchdog: Disabled

Verify Server Certificate: checked

5. Click "Save" and then "Apply Settings".


6. Go to the panel "Status" → "OpenVPN" at DD-WRT top menu, to check at "State" field status of OpenVPN connection.


All of your online activities are now 100% secure and anonymous while connected to Anonine.
